[ music | Brit- Womanizer ]

The saddest shark in the world... Kelli remember when you called me to tell me that you saw the guy who made "Sharkwater" in some restaurant? He probably thought you were crazy staring and waving at him... he was right.
Today in Biology we got to use baby sharks, I was the happiest boy alive, I named mine Bruce... except Bruce slept the entire class, someone should tell him to wake up...

"The saddest Shark in the world" (Not Bruce)

[ music | The Presets-kicking and screaming ]

This is a test, only a test... kelli thanks for bailing on frans, that BLT was almost in my stomach, the amount of space that has been alloted for me to write is overwhelming and now I feel obligated to fill the entire box however I have abandoned this bitch for far to long and contemplating a return, facebook takes away from any social aspect of communiqué... I miss coming on here and seeing people posting regularly... I want to post bullshit like I used to in my adolescents, I want to read bullshit... I vote everyone re-jump the bandwagon and get on this mother utta.

Pretty sure the only person reading this will be Kelli, Hi Kelli and her boyfriend Alex whom I believe reads her livejournal, I hope Ottawa is full of adventures.

Lately it has been hard to get ideas down, I mean concrete thoughts and not sporadic non-sensical bullshit that I usually can't escape. Called in sick today, spent the entire night trying not to throw up. When I called in I left a message stating that I had been fighting a bug the whole night, then after almost no sleep my mind wondered to 9 hours before when I was atop my desk chair with my graffti-try-hard incubus lyric destroyed chucks from gr 10 trying to squash the spider that plastered itself to my wall. Was this the bug I was fighting? or am I just being too metaphaphorical bastard reaking of pretentious film student with a lack of ideas? I went to bed and felt myself falling into a sleep like state because I felt my mind wondering into a pit of random thoughts and non sensical bullshit like the ideas that run across my brain when I am concious and awake. I remember the dream, there was a tornado and it was across my backyard about 400 meters my brother was drinking orange juice and watching Oprah, the windows were blown and the air raid sirens wailed but still he ignored me as I frantically raced to the basement, not long after my body woke itself up, my stomach was grindings and summersaulting I turned on my light and stared at the cieling with the smeared remains of the spider. It's an odd feeling when your body hates you...I tried to get back to sleep but the feeling was relentless so I gave in and decided it was time to make some tea and maybe write a little. I woke my computer and took out a notebook in which I keep ideas and thoughts when they come a knockin. With very little success I watched the time crawl by 1am -1:45 still one sentence, 2:45 a page of diaglogue. It occured to me that I have been lazy with writing since school ended but my ideas never stop, when you cut grass all day you have two things to focus on, 1. Your lines are straight 2. Random ideas, memories and stupidity. I find myself cutting grass and remembering my childhood like the time in 4th grade when I had a crush on this girl Nicole and she sent me a note during class saying meet me behind the portables after school, I showed up alright...waited...waited no Nicole. Maybe by killing spiders and other insects is just me taking out my frustration on all the girls that broke my heart along the way. You may label me as crazy but try cutting grass all day and not have random thoughts, I have thought up most of my current log lines for potential scripts for the fall, I think my mind and myself are frantically searching and mindlessly wondering every possible avenue of storytelling. I wish I had gone to Africa with my brother, he is there working as a Vet and doing some of the most facinating things and seeing the most incredible animals and places. I think I need to travel, get out of here with a camera of course my mind feels locked down in one place unable to think clearly and logically. I think its a tell tale sign I need inspiration and a new place for my brain to work. When it comes down to it there are approx 77 days left of summer and I need ideas, good concrete, career starting ideas and I don't have them but I do have plenty of grass to cut, and not make a sad attempt to finish this giant paragraph in a witty and humoristic way that makes people think I am an idiot. It's just the lack of sleep people.

On Friday March 2nd 2007 Kelli Babicock saved my life... well kinda, she did my storyboards for me and they look fantastic, they are actually like amazing and cinematic and metaphorical. We sat and drank concoctions and I told Kelli stories and she listened well at least I think she was listening and then Pedja the guitarist from Courtesy Blush came in and sat down, Kelli and I got really embarrassed and started blushing, then I made the situation even better when I started singing " The belmont strikes my mouth and the thought comes naturally!" she told me to stop... I asked Kelli if he would notice us but he didn't GOD Rock Stars are something else. Kelli hated me by the end of the night, I told her that there would only be 4 pages of storyboards and there ended up being eight... she wanted to kill me and not be drawing cars, but she did a really good job. THANK YOU JELLI! You are a fantastic drawer but driver? I don't know that parking spot "Back-in" was pretty epic. I never knew someone could reverse so far. Also some shout outs go out to Lauren Dagmar, we bonded afterwards... I called her all excited and was like I am coming over to watch SNL and then she told me it was Friday... I still went over and we watched Foodjammers among other various programming choices. I highly recommend "foodjammers" I met Nabu the Asian guy from Foodjammers with the cool glasses at the "Sk8 life" premiere, on that note I would like to make it public that Lauren Dagmar Simonik is in love with Sk8 life, she stole my copy and watches it almost everyday, she will tell you it was the best movie of the year. I am not going to be modest, it beats any of dem Departed or The Queen. This weekend I am venturing to the Great white North or some call it London Ontario, get it (great white north?) pretty cool. Lauren doesn't know it but they have this on campus movie theater called "Western Film" and they show pretty rad movies... Friday they are showing a Monty Python movie, I will probably go alone because Laur j'adore will be studying, but I am fine rolling alone. I don't even know why I am telling the world this stuff... JEEZ I am boring... if you have read this far thank you. I apologize for my grammar and english I am new to the country.

Wow, aren't I Mr. posterson, posting two days in a row.

I cannot contain my excitement because in 3 days Silverchair is playing the kool Haus and I will be seeing them because my wonderful amazing talented and sometimes avant garde girlfriend Lauren Dagmar Simonik got me tickets for my birthday, sadly she cannot attend because of an exam, however she will be their in spirit and flauntence. They sold out in literally 10 minutes, they are already playing a show at this thing called G'day Toronto celebrating the relationship between Canada and Australia but that sold out in like 4 minutes and they only had 400 tickets. I was saddened after I couldn't get tickets and then magically silverchair decided to add a show so everyone could enjoy it. They are not even supposed to be on tour and they are doing this it is all too exciting. Now let's just cross our fingers that like Incubus they don't get sick and post-pone their show until 2098. Next on the agenda is that every single person check our their new single "Straight lines" it is unlike any silverchair song ever released, it is upbeat, melodic and catchy as hell... Oh yeah "YOUNG MODERN" their new album is coming out in May, but the whole issue is they don't have a record rep in North America so this could mean imports galore. Also a neat fact, Silverchair has recorded the album in Prague, Germany, Australia, London and also Toronto where they are finishing the mix of the album with David Bottrill. This is getting awkward. God Im weird

Peace in
G

(Oh yeah this Thursday at 11:??, Incubus is performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live)

De Do Do Do De Da Da Da by the Police is probably the most fantastic song in existence.
That is all.

Oh and...

It is pretty incredible that Mr. Steiner wrote songs for them, I wonder if he actually did...? Maybe I am the most gullible person and he was like I am going to lie straight up to this kid. The story of how they found his lyrics are not even that exciting, something about finding his "Journal" in a friends car who was at the studio they were recording at. If your going to lie, make a more exciting and much cooler plot line than that. Honestly tell me you were at a Police concert and then you partied with them and then they heard you playing guitar and were like, wow thats a cool song, can we have it? Thanks ( In Sting british accent) Doesn't String or (sumner) have those 19 hour tantric sex sessions? That is probably why the police broke up in the first place, he was probably still mating and so the band got bored and left.

Does anyone remember Annie Lennox? (walking on broken glass?) God I remember actually dancing to that and Bad by Michael Jackson on my front porch, God the neighbors most likely thought we were gender confused. Remember those fisher price flashlights that you could turn a knob and the light would change color? Pretty neat-o, anyway this is getting awkward.

OVER DRAMATIC CHEESE PLATTER [Tuesday
December 12th, 2006]
Insomnia strikes again, it is 4:45 am I have an exam at 8, why does this happen? I shouldn't have to rely on grass to lull me to slumber, but common this is redonkulous...I am so tired, by body is exhausted my mind is racing and won't fall into that threshold of sleep. That one were you either fall off a cloud or a curb and you jerk your eyes open then soon drift back into a dream state... I want that... I almost had it... but here I am typing at quarter to five... I just want to sleeep... maybe my seratonin levels are low or something, whatever it may be just let me sleep... also just a note that counting sheep is a lie, it just keeps your mind wondering which sheep will bite the dust and not make it over the fence. And also the suggestion about white noise like t.v fuzz, also a lie, the entire time trying to drift off to sleep you just stare at the fuzz hoping a face won't appear from the fuzz. I think the internet is a bunch of lies with some falic symbols inbetween... I am soo fucked my exam is in less than 4 hours and I have slept all of two and a half hours. You know when you get so overtired things start to move and sentences drag on when someone speaks, im long past that... the shakes have started too, and im too afraid to sleep during the day it just insures that I won't sleep at night. Perhaps I should just stop bitching and complaining and sleep during the day tomorrow and then smoke some marry J before bed, that way I am granted sleep. Anyway I am going to continue watching diareha+hottub=bad on youtube, I highly recommend!

Last night I put on a fan because it was hot, the fan was facing me in my bed... this morning I woke up not being able to hear out of my left ear... I sure hope this isn't a long term thing because I am hearing in mono, not stereo... God I'm a nerd, I just compared my hearing deficency to audio. Anyway the moral of the story is don't fall asleep with a fan near your ear. I really hope this deafness passes before the 28th, im not listening to incubus in mono.

This is incredible, this is the Dillinger Escape Plan playing (panasonic youth) live at the Virgin Megastore, Greg Puciato(steroid Greg) the lead singer who is also a machine, likes to do really unexpected things, in the past this had included pooing into paper towel and throwing it into the audience. YUM. Anyway this video shows Greg as he runs over the crowd, literally, retuning back to stage only to come to the conclusion that his microphone is missing and he must go back into the crowd and get it back. I'm sure he is a nice calm collected individual off stage? or maybe not. Also pay attention to the guitarists, they must suffer some sort of neck injuries, but it is impressive that they can play and rock out like that! ENJOY!
